Kyler Murray throws for 464 yards in rout of Carroll

With his team trailing Carroll (Southlake, Texas) 14-7, Kyler Murray, the junior quarterback for No. 4 Allen, Texas, took over. In a little more than a minute and a half, he led the Eagles to three touchdowns to lead Allen to a 49-27 victory Friday.

Murray threw a 51-yard pass to Kendall Clinton, then scored on a 10-yard run. After a Carroll turnover, Murray connected with Cole Carter on a 88-yard touchdown reception. On the next series, Murray found Carter again for a 74-yard touchdown pass.

Murray completed 17 of 25 passes for 464 yards and three touchdowns and ran for two touchdowns and leads this week's American Family Insurance All-USA Players of the Week.

The rest of this week's outstanding performers:
Drew Barker, QB, Conner, Hebron, Kent.
Senior, in a little over a half, ran for touchdowns of 80 and 75 yards and passed for scores of 49, 65 and 62 yards in a 40-7 defeat Saturday of Boone County (Florence). Barker, who has said he plans to sign with Kentucky, ran for 163 yards on just four carries and passed for 253 yards.

Junior threw five touchdowns and ran for a 87-yard touchdown in a 56-49 loss to Hart (Newhall) on Friday.
Alex Brammer, WR, Ames, Iowa
Senior had 10 catches, including three touchdown receptions, and broke a school record with 231 receiving yards in a 47-20 defeat of East (Des Moines) on Friday.

Brian Burton, RB, Bridgeport, Mich.
Senior ran for a school-record 324 yards and four touchdowns and caught a touchdown pass in a 47-28 defeat of Valley Lutheran (Saginaw) on Thursday.

Jace Daniels, RB, Central, Kenai, Alaska
Senior ran for 270 yards and six touchdowns and returned a fumble and an interception for touchdowns in a 78-6 defeat of Homer on Saturday. He has 825 yards and 14 rushing touchdowns through his first three games this season.
Craig Gailliard, QB-DB, Edsel Ford, Dearborn, Mich.
Junior ran for two touchdowns, scored twice off interception returns and had a 81-yard kickoff return in a 41-17 defeat Thursday of Sterling Heights.

Junior ran for six touchdowns and 374 yards on just 13 carries in a 48-26 defeat of East Henderson (Flat Rock) on Friday.
Javi Rodriguez, LB, Farragut, Knoxville, Tenn.
Senior had 13 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery in a 31-24 defeat of Oak Ridge on Friday.
Keshawn Wilder, WR, Parker, Birmingham, Ala.
Junior had touchdown catches of 59, 23 and 19 yards and ran for a 3-yard touchdown in a 53-20 defeat of Carver (Birmingham) on Saturday.
