USA Today is proud to announce its inaugural American Family Insurance ALL-USA High School Volleyball Team. PrepVolleyball.com founder John Tawa selected the team based on players’ performance during the 2013 high school season.

The 2013 fall season was an interesting one, with no dominant teams that have characterized years' past. Eventually, two teams, St. James Academy of Kansas and The Woodlands of Texas, rose above the rest to complete unbeaten seasons and finish 1-2 in PrepVolleyball.com's final national rankings.

St. James is represented on the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Team by Second Team middle Audriana Fitzmorris, a big blocking 6-4 sophomore who made the USA Youth National Team as an eighth grader; and coach Nancy Dorsey, a dedicated mentor who has helped the Thunder attain unimaginable success in a very short time.

The Woodlands is represented by Second Team defender Kelly Quinn, a senior ball hawk who is headed to LSU, and by First Team setter Courtney Eckenrode, who is the ALL-USA Player of the Year. Eckenrode not only guided The Woodlands to an undefeated season and first large-class state title in 2013, she helped "reverse the curse," as no Houston-area team had won Texas' 5A classification in 13 years. Eckenrode took the Highlanders to the title with precision setting, unmatched decision-making, relentless blocking and defense and outstanding leadership.
